The Truth Project Home Discipleship Group

I want to invite you to participate in this discipleship group covering a very engaging topic:  What is truth? And how does the Christian worldview connect to everyday life?  Jeff and Cathy will be handing out workbooks for everyone and each week we'll watch a short video and discuss afterward.  What is it? The Truth Project is a ground-breaking small group curriculum on the Biblical worldview. This video-based home Bible study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Join Dr. Del Tackett, as he takes you through 13 engaging video lessons on the relevance and importance of living the Biblical worldview in daily life, featuring insights from biblical experts like R.C. Sproul, Os Guinness and Gordon Pennington. When is it? Sermon Series "Summer by the Lake"

The "Summer by the Lake" sermon series centers around four miracles of Jesus recorded in Luke 8 that happened on or near the Sea of Galilee.  These miracles demonstrate the power of God over the impossible and teach us when we need a miracle to not be afraid, only have faith!  This sermon series may center around the Sea of Galilee but its focus is how to live by faith and trust God.     Interesting Facts About the Sea of Galilee --Although it's called the Sea of Galilee, it is really a lake about seven miles wide and twelve miles long located on the northeast side of Israel.   --Another name for the Sea of Galilee is the Kinneret due to its violin-like shape. CWC July News 2023

 CWC July Newsletter For the last five years CWC has been blessed to have Pastor Tony use an office at our church for his Life for the Nations evangelistic ministry.  But now he is moving his headquarters to the Miami, Florida area.  After church this Sunday, July 16th, we are throwing him a Tex-Mex potluck appreciation lunch. The 2023-2024 school season is fast approaching!  This year our goal is to help at least 20 families with much-needed school supplies.  There is a donation box by the front doors to drop off school supplies.   Connect in a Discipleship Home Group A new group starting next month!
