CWC Ministry Partner Appreciation Dinner Invite
The Apostle Paul was always quick to express his thankfulness and gratitude to those who served and supported him in ministry. He understood his success was absolutely dependent on those who served with him. A perfect example is in Romans 16:1-15. There he mentions at least 26 people by name whom he was thankful for their help to him and work in the Lord!
I too am immensely thankful for all the saints at CWC who volunteer and serve as unto the Lord. Some we see because they have a public role but others serve and meet needs behind the scenes--both are needed and regularly displayed in our church.
To express thankfulness and begin cultivating a culture of gratitude we are hosting a "CWC Ministry Partner Appreciation Dinner" on Saturday evening, October 14th, at 6:30 pm in the church fellowship hall.
The evening event is for all those who have volunteered in any capacity, whether a one-time event, behind the scenes, or every week.
This special evening will include a catered BBQ dinner and dessert as well as giving out special awards, gifts, raffle prizes, and tokens of appreciation throughout the evening.
If you are attending, and I hope that you will, I ask two things of you. First, you need to RSVP using the link that will be provided at the end of this post. Second, in the RSVP there will be a chance for you to express your gratitude for one another. Don't skip this! Reflect on who, what, and when someone within the church served that you remember. It can be a time you were blessed personally or/and a time you saw someone serving. Be specific, tell us who and what they did and why you are grateful for them. I hope to share some of these stories at the appreciation dinner.
Click RSVP to reserve your spot now.
