2023 CWC Christmas Outreach Party

This year for Christmas we are having our first outreach Christmas party at Calvary Worship Center. Instead of celebrating in the church building, we will be celebrating with the community at The Lodge at Merrilltown clubhouse.  

The Lodge is a senior living income-based community and the staff have expressed a need for groceries and fresh produce for their residents, as well as help stock their food pantry. 

So on Saturday evening, December 9th, at 5:00 PM we will be hosting a Christmas party for them and us complete with party foods, games, music and giving out 50 bags of groceries.  It IS the season for giving, right?  

For this to be a success we need your help to make it a wonderful evening of celebration, giving and sharing the love of Christ. 

Here are three ways you can be a part of the 2023 CWC Christmas Outreach Party at The Lodge.

1. Our goal is to raise $3,500 to buy groceries for fifty families.  Would you consider donating to cover the cost?  100% of the proceeds will go to buying food goods and produce they have specifically requested.  What isn't given out the night of the party will be added to their food pantry.  There is an option to give at the bottom of this blog.

2.  We're throwing a party and you are invited!  Dress up in your favorite holiday outfit-- even those over-the-top Christmas sweaters with bells and ribbons!  Come to be blessed and be a blessing.

3.  Pray for the success of the Outreach Christmas party. Pray that the funds come in, that the party is a success without any issues, that there is a great response from the apartment community, and that the light of Jesus shines bright.
