CWC Annual Family Christmas party this Saturday at 5:00 pm!

Wear that festive Christmas sweater, bring the whole family, and join us for our Christmas holiday party this Saturday, December 13th, @ 5:30 pm.   Bring a holiday appetizer, snack, or sweet to share.  We will sing Christmas carols, play Christmas games, and wrap it up with a White Elephant gift exchange (under $20).     Would you like to help with the Christmas party planning committee?  We are looking for people to help plan and coordinate the party.  If you are interested, please email pastor@cwcaustin.org.  Thanks! Looking Ahead: Sunday, Dec 21st:   For the Sunday service before Christmas, we will worship with Christmas-focused songs and hear a message on  the birth of Christ.  At the end, we will dim the lights and sing O Holy Night by candlelight and reflect on the miracle of Emmanuel, God with us.   Wednesday, Dec 24th and 31st:  No Bible study service.  The regular schedule will resume in January....

New to CWC?  The next step is taking the Discovering CWC Church Life.  This is where you find out who and what CWC is all about.  This is when you discover your fit in our family.  When you stop attending and start belonging. SATURDAY, JAN 31ST 3:00-5:00 It was promised. You've been asking.  The Book of Revelation Sermon Series begins Sunday, February 1st.  For a couple of months now, Pastor Matt has been teaching verse-by-verse through Revelation on Wednesday evenings.  He will continue to do that. The Revelation Sunday sermon series will follow a more chapter-by-chapter approach and hit the high points-the overaching themes.  There's no better time for you to start adding the Wednesday evening Bible teaching to your schedule.  Wednesday, February 4th @ 7:00PM The first Wednesday of each month, we pause the Bible study and spend the evening in worship, prayer, and communion.  This is YOUR opportunity to soak in God's presence, have you...

Special Visit from Missionary to Vietnam: Amy Farley

This Sunday, June 28th, CWC has the great honor of hosting one of our missionaries to Vietnam that we have supported for over 15 years, Pastor Amy Farley.   Pastor Amy has been in full-time ministry for 24 years. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Nelson University in Waxahachie, Texas. Her ministry has spanned continents. She served for almost 10 years in West Africa, helping to build schools and plant churches. Currently, she serves as lead pastor at River Church in the capital city of Ho Chi Minh City and Director of The River Consultancy since December 2018.  For more info:  https://riverchurchvietnam.com/ Immediately following the Sunday morning service, everyone is invited to stay for lunch, meet Amy, and learn more about her and her mission ministry.  The church will provide the pizza, and we ask everyone to bring a side dish or dessert to complement the pizza.   But wait, there's more!
