1st Wednesday Worship, Prayer, and Communion May 7th @ CWC
One of King Solomon's greatest achievements was building the Temple. On the inauguration day, they brought in the Ark of the Covenant to the Holy of Holies in the Temple. The Ark of the Covenant was the place where the presence of God would rest between the Cherubim on the top of the Ark. Notice how much singing, worship, and praise were included in this momentous moment recorded in 2 Chronicles 5:12-14!
And the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and all their sons and brothers—were dressed in fine linen robes and stood at the east side of the altar playing cymbals, lyres, and harps. They were joined by 120 priests who were playing trumpets. (13) The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the LORD with these words: “He is good! His faithful love endures forever!” At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the LORD. (14) The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple of God.
On Wednesday, May 7th, at 7:00, we are having a worship, prayer, and communion service at CWC. The purpose is to create an atmosphere of worship and faith for God to move in our midst. Worship ministers Marcelino and Tiffany Gonzalez will be leading the worship.
Woven through worship in song we will also pray for the needs of those present. Are you sick in body? Do you need breakthroughs in your personal life? Do you desire a personal touch from God? Do you need wisdom and direction? Then you are encouraged to participate.
We will pray for more than personal needs. Our community and nation need God. Our missionaries need our prayers.
We are also going to have times of waiting and listening for the voice of the Holy Spirit to speak and bring encouragement and heavenly wisdom through the gifts of the Holy Spirit such as prophecy, words of wisdom and knowledge, discerning of spirits, and gifts of healing.
We will conclude the service in participating in remembering the Body and Blood of Christ in communion.
Come expecting answers and to be used by the Holy Spirit to minister to one another.

God willing, I'd love to attend!
